"When I was informed of the cancer recurrence, I faced it with equanimity and hoped to have the physical strength to continue doing good deeds, helping more people, and giving back to society. I am grateful for everyone's generous donations and thankful to the One Hope Charity & Welfare for approving the assistance."

33-year-old Oh Siang Yin from Bukit Mertajam was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2021, with doctors pronouncing her life nearing its end. However, her positive and cooperative attitude towards treatment, coupled with her completion of therapy, allowed her to maintain a healthy physique to continue volunteering, gradually improving her life.

Unfortunately, the good times didn't last long. During her routine check-up in January this year, it was discovered that her cancer cell index had risen. The doctor recommended six months of oral chemotherapy. With the required RM40,000 medical expenses raised within two hours, Oh Siang Yin is deeply grateful for the public's donations and pledges to actively fight against the cancer with everyone's blessings.
