One Hope Charity donated a total of 100 boxes of drinking water to two hospitals, addressing the urgent needs of patients

The attention surrounding the water crisis in Penang has prompted urgent requests for assistance from Bukit Mertajam Hospital and Kepala Batas Hospital during the late hours. Following a thorough inspection of available resources, One Hope Charity has allocated and delivered emergency aid in the form of 100 boxes, totaling 2400 bottles, of drinking water to these two hospitals. The aim is to temporarily alleviate the critical shortage of drinking water in the healthcare facilities.

Given the substantial number of patients at Kepala Batas and Bukit Mertajam Hospitals, despite the institutions taking necessary measures to store and supply emergency water, it remains insufficient to meet the consumption needs of inpatients. Therefore, the drinking water aid provided by our organization is primarily intended for distribution to hospitalized patients.

Today, One Hope Charity transported 100 boxes of drinking water to the two hospitals. The hospital management and medical staff express gratitude for this donation, acknowledging that while it may not fully meet the extensive demand, it serves to alleviate the water shortage and lighten their workload.
