When learned that the operation fee had been successfully raised, Hong Yit Yeen revealed that Seng Kah Choon had previously expressed concern about the operation. However, Seng Kah Choon, who has difficulty expressing himself clearly in words, expressed his hope that the operation will go smoothly with guidance to help improve the current situation.

He appears hesitant about the first thing he wants to do after the operation is finished and his hearing has improved. He appears to lack the courage to imagine the happiness and comfort he might feel when the sound becomes clearer.

Seng Kah Choon had trouble hearing since he was a child. He couldn't hear anything in his left ear and could only rely on his right ear for about 20% of his hearing. Despite wearing hearing aids, his life has not improved significantly. He struggled to keep up in school and was unable to enrol in special schools to learn sign language. His hearing problems hampered his ability to find work as an adult. He was unable to do so for a long time after several jobs, and he could only continue to look for suitable jobs in the near future.

Seng Kah Choon's elderly parents are concerned about his future life and ability to care for himself, so they hope that he can undergo cochlear implant surgery in his left ear as soon as possible and gradually find his own pace of life. Kah Choon, who is currently unemployed, his father, Seng Mun Fatt, who works as a grab driver, and his mother, Hong Yit Yeen, who is a promoter, do not have enough money to pay for cochlear implant surgery, which can cost up to RM72,800.

Fortunately, with the help and blessings of the public, Kah Choon successfully raised the required fees and was able to schedule the cochlear implant surgery as soon as possible. Everyone's good deeds can not only improve Kah Choon's hearing, but also give him and his family new hope.
