The parents are concerned because their 9-year-old eldest son with Down's Syndrome is still unable to speak. Shinthubaarathy A/P Sathia Nanam, the youngest daughter, now has Waardenburg Syndrome and is deaf in both ears. Parents only want their children to be able to live normal lives on their own.

When her mother discovered that her child was not like other children, she was exhausted and unsure what to do, but the doctor told her that as long as the cochlear implant was implanted, the child could still live a normal life, which gave her a glimmer of hope.

The child's cochlear fee of RM95,000 has been fully raised, and the hospital is also arranging the date of surgery.

Regardless of race, the public's donations and blessings are greatly appreciated by parents. After the procedure, they hope that their kids will receive speech therapy and gradually get back on the learning track so they can have a happy childhood.
