"Despite her husband's passing, the children still deeply miss their father, especially the youngest daughter. Whenever she recalls moments with her father, she secretly sheds tears."

Following her husband's unfortunate demise due to advanced liver cancer, 44-year-old widow Tan Chee Wooi not only endures the pain of losing her spouse but also stands strong with her four children aged 15, 11, 9, and 8. Engaging in home-based packaging work, she diligently packages screws and other tools into small bags, earning a few hundred ringgit each month to support the family's expenses.

With One Hope Charity successfully raising RM150,000 to support the living and educational expenses of the four children, fundraising activities are hereby ceased.

"Although my husband's passing has had a profound impact on the entire family, I still need to face it positively. I'm deeply grateful to One Hope Charity for helping us through this difficult time. Thank you to all the kind-hearted individuals in society for your donations and encouragement."

Tan Chee Wooi, a mother from Bukit Mertajam, remains resilient despite her struggles with psoriasis, a severe skin condition, accompanied by red spots all over her body and joint pain, particularly debilitating in her feet. She needs to transport her children to and from school and can only rely on home-based packaging work to earn a modest income, which is insufficient to cover their expenses, leading her to seek assistance.
