17-year-old cheerful young man, Tan Ee Xian, has now completed his third round of chemotherapy. Each time he is admitted to the hospital, bone marrow tests are conducted to determine the level of cancer cells before the appropriate chemotherapy drugs can be administered. His brother will donate bone marrow to him, and arrangements have been made for him to undergo the fourth round of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant at Ampang Hospital on March 13. His brother, on the other hand, is scheduled to be admitted for various tests and procedures on March 17, with the bone marrow donation expected to take place on March 20.

After the bone marrow transplant, Ee Xian is expected to be discharged from the hospital after a month of isolation, followed by frequent check-ups at the hospital for observation for six months. After the observation period, he will be able to return to Penang.

Ee Xian, who is talkative and optimistic, hopes to resume his normal life after the bone marrow transplant. Regarding school, only teachers and one or two close friends are aware of his condition. When other classmates inquire about his condition, he jokingly tells them he went to get double eyelid surgery, lightening the mood and dispelling their concerns.

Tan Ee Xian, a cheerful and optimistic Form Four student from Penang, believes that as long as there is medical treatment, there is hope for recovery. He has always been optimistic and cooperative with doctors' treatments. Although he is interested in hematology, he has chosen to pursue another interest, political science, as he is in the commerce stream.

With the necessary medical expenses of RM50,000 already raised, he and his mother are very grateful for the generous donations from the public, which have enabled him to undergo the bone marrow transplant smoothly. They hope that after the transplant, Ee Xian will be able to resume his normal life.

We hope for the collective blessings and support from the public, wishing for Ee Xian's successful bone marrow transplant and his return to school. We also wish him courage and perseverance. Keep fighting!
