44-year-old woman Lim Chun Kim is exhausted as she needs to taking care of her husband and three children. And now, One Hope Charity decided to adopt the Tan family, and successfully raised RM80,000 for the family’s living expenses, medical and educations fees. This kind deed has temporarily relieves the family’s financial burden and also help to make their lives more stable.

Chun Kim from Butterworth, Penang, plays multiple roles in her family. Not only does she have to take care of her husband who suffers from epilepsy and is unable to work, she also has to take care of her three children – a 19-year-old son with mental illness, a 13-year-old son with learning difficulties and a young son who is only seven. Although the family did not need to starve with the financial aids that Chun Kim applied, but she is still exhausted as she needs to earn a living as well as to take care of the family.

And now, the RM80,000 has been successfully raised and Chun Kim is grateful to the public who offered help. She also promised to take her health matter seriously and seek medical treatment at the hospital. Chun Kim has only one kidney left after one of her kidneys was removed after a kidney failure. Several years ago, she was found to have tumours inside and outside of her uterus, but she did not take it seriously as she was worried that no one could take care of her family.
