Two-year-old girl, Zahra Binti Muhammad Saifullah, underwent a successful heart repair surgery on June 20th. After passing the critical period in the intensive care unit, she was transferred to a regular ward and finally discharged from the hospital on June 27th.

Zahra, from Ayer Itam, Penang, had only 10% function left in her heart blood vessels due to narrowing, and she was at risk of a fatal burst at any time. With the surgery going smoothly, the worried faces of her parents finally eased, and they are immensely grateful for the assistance provided by the public from all walks of life. The generosity shown by people of all races has deeply moved them.

They express their heartfelt thanks to everyone in the community for the support received. The father also promises to donate and do charitable deeds within his means every month, to help other patients and ensure that this love continues to flow. Thank you all for helping them through this difficult time.
