1 and 3 months old Nailah Farafishah, 1 month old Muhammad Hamzah & less than a month old baby boy Shine Thu Ya Aung suffer from congenital heart disease and require urgent assistance. Please lend a helping hand!

 

【Case 1: Frontliners are busying with Covid-19 but he needs to worry about her daughter's medical fee】

While all frontliners are working hard for the 3rd outbreak, he was assigned to Jawi's prison to collect test sample. He then has to worry about his 1 and 3 months old daughter's condition.

Nailah Farafishah Binti Abdul Rahman, 1 and 3 months old, is a normal baby. After birth, she was diagnosed with Atrio Ventricular Septal Defect, AVSD.

Doctors suggested that she needs to undergo surgery when she is 4kg. Because of the huge amount of surgery fee, they are forced to delay the surgery.

She can only rely on medication to control her condition. Now, her heart is deteriorating and her kidneys are starting to have problem.

In 13th Oct, the baby girl were admitted to hospital due to fever and lung infection. Doctors told her parents that her condition should not be delayed further and suggested her to undergo surgery soonest possible else her life will be endangered.

Her father, Abdul Rahman Bin Zakariah is Seberang Selatan's health officer. During the 3rd outbreak, he needs to go to prisons to collect sample for testing purpose. During this period, he needs to quarantine himself.

Abdul rahman and his wife, Siti Fatimah Binti Ismail have 4 children. They are 13 years old daughter, 12 years old son, 7 years old daughter and 4 years old son respectively. He draws a monthly salary of RM2,000. He also works part time as a Grab driver.

The huge sum of medical fee had brought stress to him yet he needs to be at the front line during this period. As a result, he came forward to seek help from One Hope Charity.

Before this, father had collected 70,000 ringgit from relatives and friends. He requested One Hope Charity for the the remaining of RM10,000 surgery fee.

 

【Case 2: Firstborn of the family but he suffer from congenital heart disease. He urgently require RM80,000】

1 month old Muhammad Hamzah Bin Mohammad Norhisyam who is from Kulim suffer from TGA, ASD and PDA.

He is the firstborn of the family and during pregnancy, he was normal. He was expected to be born on 5th of October but had delayed till 13th of October.

He was born around 11am. He was normal but the next day during checkup, his SPO2 is still low. Doctor rushed him to NICU at 6am the next day for ventilator.

After check-up, he was diagnosed with heart disease and he needs to undergo surgery in 2 weeks.

His father Muhamad Norhisyam Bin Alias, 27, is an admin in a factory. He draws a monthly salary of RM1,600. His mother, Siti Afirah Al-Abidah Binti Saliman, 27 is a religion teacher in a private school. She draws a monthly salary of RM1,050.

【Case 3: A couple of foreign worker was married for 9 years but failed to have offsprings.  Their first born suffer from congenital heart disease and require RM65,000 for surgery.】

They had been working in Malaysia for 9 years and Malaysia has been their second home. Aung Aung and his wife, Ei Shwe Zin Myint who is from Myanmar depleted their saving for their baby's medical fee.

Shine Thu Ya Aung who is less than a month old was born in 7th October. He was diagnosed with perforated heart, ASD and PDA. He needs to undergo surgery when he is 5 to 8kg.

During the 8th month of pregnancy, doctor realized that the baby has heart problem. He was born 3 weeks earlier and requires ventilator all these while.

After birth, he is require to stay in NICU. The cost is very expensive and they requested to be discharged. They rent the ventilator for their baby at RM400 per month. Doctors suggested the baby to go for surgery.

His father, Aung Aung, 45, has been working in Malaysia for many years. He works as a construction worker in a renovation company. He draws a daily salary of RM80 if he works. His mother, EI Shwe Zin Myint, 42, is a cleaner in the same company. She draws a daily salary of RM30-RM40. She stopped working when she was pregnant.

They had depleted their savings and could not afford RM65,000 of surgery fees. As a result, they came forward to seek help from One Hope Charity.
