Baby boy is extremely adorable but suffers from Leukaemia which may endangered his life. He urgently requires RM650,000 for chemotherapy stem cell transplant surgery.

5 months old baby boy, Ng Zi Heng is from Kuala Lumpur. He was diagnosed with Infantile Acute Lymphoid Leukaemia and MLL Gene Mutation. This is a very rare disease.

The only treatment which is suitable for him is chemotherapy and stem cell transplant surgery. The suitable stem cell is still being searched but there are a few samples which may be suitable is currently being tested.

When his mother is pregnant, everything was normal until when he was 6 weeks old, his parents realized that his milk intake had reduced. They thought that Ng Zi Heng is constipated but when they massage him, they realized that his stomach was swollen. He was brought to clinic for check-up and the doctor advice his parents to bring him to hospital for further check-up.

After ultrasound screening, doctor realized that his spleen was swollen. He was then diagnosed with Leukaemia and started chemotherapy till midst of October due to bacterial infection.

His parent’s family do not have any history of Leukaemia and his medical report shows that it is a gene mutation. His only elder brother has went for test for compatibility but unfortunately, the sample is not suitable.

White Blood Cell Increases Abnormally

In early of November, the baby boy’s white blood cell has increased abnormally. This may be due to 2 reason. The first reason is that his cancer cell recurred and the second reason is may be due to the bacterial infection. If his cancer cell recurred, his chances of recovery is little.

Luckily, his medical report shows that his white blood cell increased due to infection.
