Throughout these 2 months, Nur Hannan Qaisya Asheeqa has been relying on breathing machine and medication to stay alive as she is born with 5 heart malformations. Her condition is critical, and surgery is required on Friday to stay alive. She urgently requires RM80,000 surgery fee and her parents hope that the generous public could lend a helping hand in rescuing their daughter by allowing her to go for surgery before Hari Raya.
Nur Hannan Qaisya Sheeqa (born 11 March 2019) is from Sungai Petani, Kedah. She was diagnosed with multiple congenital lesions when she is 1 week old. She suffers from Coarctation of the Aorta, Distal Arch Hypoplasia, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Ventricular Septal Defect and Atrial Septal Defect. Since birth, her weight has only increased by 0.1kg.
Her mother’s pregnancy was all fine until when she was one week old, she experienced breathing difficulties at home and her face turned purplish.
Her parents rushed her to hospital and after a series of checkups, she was diagnosed with multiple heart malformations.
The next day, she was transferred to Penang General Hospital and she was confirmed that she suffers from 5 heart malformations. Her life is endangered, and she requires to rely on breathing machine and medication. As her condition is considered as serious congenital heart disease and she is only 2 and a-half months old, her surgery should not be delayed further to avoid bacterial infection. As a result, doctor has scheduled her surgery on next Monday.
Due to her heart condition, her weight has only increased by 0.1kg and she is unable to grow. When she was born, she is 3.4kg and now she weighs 3.5kg.
Her father, Muhamad Hafiz, 34, is a security guard in a drug rehabilitation center who draws a monthly salary of RM2,700 while her mother, Fathiyah, 34, is a housewife. Nur Hannan has 3 elder siblings who are 10 years old to 1 years old.
As her family are unable to bear the surgery fee, they came forward to seek assistance from One Hope Charity and hoping that the generous public could lend a helping hand.
Her parents agree to allow One Hope Charity & Welfare Berhad to take charge of the fundraising for their daughter and at the same time, accumulating the donations from the public.
