Making donations for coffins is considered one of the greatest merits. It will bring luck and blessings to the well-wishers and their decedents. Coffin donations for the deceased from underprivileged families and those with no relatives not only can continue the spirit of the Chinese, but it will also allow the deceased to finish their final journey with dignity
One Hope Charity is grateful for the coffin donations from well-wishers worldwide, which successfully helped 150 to 180 poor and lonely deceased to complete their final rites every year.
In the past, One Hope Charity appealed to those who wished to donate coffins, urns and columbariums to make general donations. However, in recent years, we received more and more inquiries about individual offerings of caskets, urns and columbariums. To fulfil other people’s wishes, One Hope Charity has launched limited-time funeral expenses donations such as donating coffins, urns and columbariums to the deceased.
The following fees refer to the prices for funeral handling and arrangement expenses over the years:
One Hope Charity will release 150 sets of limited-time donations for funeral handling and arrangement expenses to the well-wishers. We would like to raise RM570,000.00 through this campaign. We also welcome donors to make general donations.
After One Hope Charity receives the donations, we will record the name of the donors and allocate coffins, urns and columbariums based on the order of contributions. The merits will be returned to the donors and all our well-wishers.
If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
