Little Zhi Chen will be undergoing his artificial cochlear implant surgery at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM, formerly known as Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) on August 29. The doctor has confirmed that he is suitable for bilateral simultaneous cochlear implantation. We believe that he will have the opportunity to learn how to listen, speak, read, and write in the near future, after regaining his hearing ability.
Chan Zhi Chen is a lively boy. If he can hear the beautiful sounds, he will sure be dancing along with the music. We pray that he will have a smooth surgery, and the RM134,600 surgical and medical fee he needed has been fully raised. Hence, the fundraising will be stopped immediately.
