“Thank you everyone for all of your help to bring my daughter out of the world of silence. I hope that she can be successful in her career in the future.”

Hireneshwari Sundram was born deaf. She got her cochlear implant for her right ear at the age of 2, while wearing a hearing aid on her left. Hence, she could barely hear any voices during classes.

Her mother hoped that before she steps out into society, she could have an artificial cochlear implant on her left ear, so that she is able to take care of herself. The doctor already identified a suitable artificial cochlea for her, and the medical fee of RM61,200 was settled, all thanks to the kind-hearted donors who supported our fundraising campaign.

The mother, Jayanthi Seenivasan, felt deeply appreciated for the public’s help and support, regardless of race or religion, to save her daughter and help her escape the world of silence.
