An 11-month-old baby boy suffers from a heart disease. His parents, who had no relatives in Penang pleaded the public to help them with their baby’s surgical fee. And now, the RM65,000 needed has been successfully raised. His parents are grateful to all the well-wishers for letting them feel the love despite being away from home.

11-month-old Luqman Daniyal Bin Safriansah was diagnosed with ventricular septal defect (VSD) two weeks after he was born. At a young age, he had to take medicine to control his condition, as well as to go for regular follow-up visits. At that time, the doctor also advised him to undergo a heart repair surgery when he reaches a specific weight, but at a recent follow-up visit, the doctor discovered that his condition deteriorated and must undergo the surgery as soon as possible.

Although Luqman Daniyal Bin Safriansah suffers from heart disease, apart from the fact that he is smaller in size compared to the other children, he did not show any other symptoms. Therefore, when the doctor told them that their son’s condition is critical, the parents were very worried because they were away from their hometown, and did not know who to turn to for help.

The young couple finally approached One Hope Charity for help. One Hope Charity approved their application and launched a fundraising for the baby boy a few days ago. The fundraising received overwhelming response from the well-wishers. The young parents hope to express their gratitude to all generous donors through One Hope Charity as their donations enabled them to raise their son’s surgical fee within a short period of time.
