“She is an optimist child. We know that her treatments are not easy for her, we also feel her pain, but sometimes, she will come and comfort us instead.”

17-year-old girl Nur Eiffa Hazeeqa Binti Mohd Hafiz from Shah Alam, Selangor, suffers from an inflammatory bowel disease called Crohn’s disease. Her parents are worried about her monthly medication fee of RM7,520.

With the decision of One Hope Charity to assist in fundraising for her medication fee for a year, the parents can temporarily relief. They are grateful for the assistance from the public, so that their family does not need to worry about their child’s medication fee for a year.

Despite this, the girl’s heart condition showed signs of deterioration during a recent follow-up visit, and she needs a surgery. However, the hospital has not provided a date for the surgery. It is learned that once the heart surgery is completed, she will also need to undergo a liposuction surgery.

Although she suffers from various illnesses but Nur Eiffa Hazeeqa is a jovial girl. She did not show her sad and weak side to her parents. Seeing such a strong and unyielding spirit of their child, the parents also insisted on letting her to continue her treatment and hope that their daughter can recover from the illnesses as soon as possible.
