Ting Pei Tin, a 16-year-old girl, had 85-degree scoliosis. After many delays and scheduling, she finally undergo surgery on March 8 this year. Now she can live as usual with a straight body.

On May 29, 2021, ONE HOPE CHARITY launched an RM40,000 fundraising event to assisted her surgery fee. The surgery was originally scheduled to be performed on June 9, 2021, but the operation was postponed to November 23 due to the raging of Covid-19. Then the surgery was once again postponed to March 8 this year, and now she has recovered and was discharged from the hospital on March 11.

Ting Pei Tin from Kuala Lumpur complained to her mother about chest and back pain during June 2020. At that time, her mother thought it was the sequelae of using the mobile phone during an online class. When she went to a check-up and found that his scoliosis had reached 85 degrees.

Scoliosis has affected her heart and lung function, and in addition to health problems, it has also brought her psychological damage.

Thanks to the generous public, now she can face the future with confidence and hope she can live a happy and healthy life.
