A car accident has caused a family of six to lose the bread-winner of the family. Law Yi Ming who is a car mechanic is bedridden and hoping to get help from the generous society to accumulate an amount of RM50,000 for treatment and as living cost assistance. The living cost of his parents and education cost for his silibings are all depending on him. Unfortunately, he was bedridden due to a car accident and this has caused the family to lose the bread-winner of family. The dream of persuing higher education of his siblings has shattered. The family hopes that the generous society could lend a helping hand and donate an amount of RM50,000 for Yi Ming’s 1 year treatment and their family’s living cost.
Law Yi Ming, 27, who is from Sungai Petani is a mechanic and also the one and only bread-winner of his family. At 5am of 6th of Aug, he was involved in a serious car accident in a highway, causing him to suffer from severe injuries. He was brought to Sungai Petani’s hospital for emergency treatment.
His life was saved after the treatment but due to his brain injuries, he fell into a coma. He was kept under monitoring in ICU and as his condition is stable, he was transferred to normal ward.
Yi Ming is the eldest in his family and his whole family depends on his incoming. His father is a vegetable farmer with a very small amount of salary. His mother is a housewife and he has a 19 years old brother who just started working as a waiter. He quitted his job to take care of Yi Ming. He has a 17 years old younger sister and a 13 years old younger brother. Both of them are relying on Yi Ming on their education cost and living cost.
This sudden accident has caused his family to fall into a financial crisis as the expenses of Yi Ming’s medical cost is heavy. Adding on, the living & education cost of his siblings has also brought burden. One Hope Charity will sponsor the living cost of the family for 1 year and as a result, One Hope Charity will begin the fundraising which amounts to RM50,000 for Law Yi Ming’s medical cost and living expenses. After a year, we will obtain updates and reanalyse if they still need assistance.
With the care of his mother and siblings, Yi Ming is now awake. One Hope Charity has paid a second visit on 16th and his condition has improved.
After he is discharged, he will be transferred to a nursing home. The fee will be sponsored by the principal of the nursing home. His mother has also decided to follow Yi Ming to the nursing home to help in cleaning the nursing home as a sign of appreciation.
Yi Ming currently is on special formulated milk, adult diapers and medical equipment. All these require a certain amount of expenses. As a result, we hope that the kind hearted society could donate and help them.
