“He is a cheerful dad who gets along well with his children. Plans were made to take him for a holiday on Penang Island during the upcoming break. However, witnessing him lying unresponsive in the hospital bed is truly heartbreaking. We earnestly seek everyone's help to save our dad.”

Nordin bin A Kadir, a 62-year-old from Kepala Batas, Penang, experienced symptoms like headaches, dizziness, vomiting, diarrhea, and numbness in his limbs. His family promptly called an ambulance, and scans revealed bleeding in the brain. Treatment with thrombolysis did not show improvement, prompting doctors to recommend a referral to the only specialist hospital in northern Malaysia equipped with intravascular thrombectomy technology. The patient needs urgent surgery within the golden window period for a chance at survival. However, the surgery costs RM60,000, and the family, feeling helpless, turns to One Hope Charity for assistance.

【The children, in their filial piety, planned to bring their parents to Penang for a vacation. Unfortunately, before the trip could materialize, the father is now lying unconscious in the intensive care unit】

Nordin, 62, who has diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, has been taking medication regularly without major issues. However, recently around 8 a.m., he complained of a headache, dizziness, vomiting, and numbness on the left side of his body, accompanied by unclear speech. The family promptly called an ambulance, and upon examination, medical personnel identified a stroke. Although thrombolysis was performed, there was no improvement, prompting doctors to recommend transferring him to a specialized hospital for urgent surgery during the golden period; otherwise, his life would be at risk. The substantial medical expenses left the children in distress.

Nordin, a retired bank security officer of over 5 years, and his 58-year-old wife, a housewife, have five children. Four of them are working, and one is still in school. Their combined income is barely enough to sustain their livelihood and cover their parents' living expenses, with no capacity to afford the significant medical costs. They turned to One Hope Charity for assistance.

After urgent verification, One Hope Charity decided to raise the required medical funds for the patient. The family agreed to entrust the fundraising activities entirely to One Hope Charity and will also collect the donations.

In this case, the foundation will allocate RM10,000 from the "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund." For any inquiries, please contact the foundation hotline at 04-539 9212, 016-4192 192, 019-2322 192, 018-911 4192."
