When she was about to be scheduled for a heart surgery, the plan had to be postponed as she suffered from lungs infection. However, the little girl showed her strong will of living. She completed her treatment, went through a successful surgery, and now, she has recovered and was allowed to be discharged from the hospital.

It wasn’t an easy journey for baby Ayra Inara Binti Alif Imran from Balik Pulau in Penang to seek for her medical treatment. When she was about to be scheduled for her heart surgery, his lungs were infected and she couldn’t undergo the surgery. The surgery was postponed for two weeks, until her condition was stable. The baby girl was arranged to be admitted to the hospital on December 15, and she undergone the heart surgery on the next day.

The heart surgery went smoothly. After the baby girl passed the critical period in the intensive care unit, she was transferred to the general ward on December 19, and she was discharged on December 24 – the Christmas Eve, to be reunited with her family.

Baby Ayra Inara was tested for kidney swelling when she was in her mother’s womb. After she was born, she was diagnosed with congenital heart disease, and she needed a heart surgery to save her life. It was a race against time, but fortunately, the baby girl has successfully completed her surgery, and the treatment for her kidney problem has also started and on-going.

One Hope Charity and the child’s parents are grateful to all kind-hearted individuals for their assistance to keep the child alive and provide her with a chance to survive.
